Wow has it been a long time or what? I haven't blogged forever. We have been really busy with school, work, and other things. School is now officially over, but for some reason our lives haven't slowed down. Blake is studying for the DAT (the pre-dental entry exam) and I am going to be working two jobs for the summer. The scheduled date for the test is June 28th so everyone keep him in your prayers. I know that he will do great and give it his all.
Now to catch up on the past. My birthday was March 22nd and I turned 22 so it was my golden birthday. My siblings threw me a surprise birthday party at my parents home. Blake put a party together with some of our friends and then I went to the hunger games with some of my old roommates and friends from college. I had a great birthday and I felt really loved. Blake even bought me tickets to the little mermaid play. I love the little mermaid and in fact it was the movie Blake used in his video when he proposed.
Our friend Deanna shares the same birthday as me so we invited them to come with us. Now the funny part is that Blake didn't realize that it was a BALLET and not an actual musical or play. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but the guys could say other wise. Right as soon as the show started we all started laughing. It was good culture for the men.
My sweet sister Makell moved to Texas again. We all got together one last time before they headed out and went to Pizza Pie cafe. Afterwards we went to their house to play games. I love when we all get together we always have a good time. We are going to miss them this summer.
Lately the weather has been amazing and we have been taking full advantage. This past month we have been getting together with our friends to have a barbecue and play volleyball. The Provo canyon is so beautiful this time of year.
So last semester Blake took a Latin Ballroom class with me. Ladies I have no idea how I got him to do it with me other than he loves me that much. I think he secretly enjoyed it though.
The other day I came home and my sweet husband had bought me a waffle Iron. Waffles were a big thing in my home and I have been craving waffles like crazy so Blake surprised me. Is it okay if we bought a waffle iron before a microwave?!
Those videos made me smile really big. SO FUN! I wish Jed would take a class with me. So sweet of blake to take you to a ballet. :) And buy you a waffle iron.

ReplyDeleteLittle Mermaid ballet? Waffle iron? Ballroom dance? Blake is ROCKIN' it! I think the best waffle I ever had was made by you at 12:00 in the afternoon for breakfast after pulling an all night-er... no biggie.
